VinFast and MGA.414 Corporation, which operates the JIGA auto service chain, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand VinFast’s EV service network in the Philippines. The partnership aims to establish over 100 service centers by the end of the year, ensuring authorized repair, warranty, and maintenance services for VinFast electric vehicles. JIGA’s service centers will adhere to VinFast’s rigorous standards, offering genuine spare parts and high-quality services. This initiative aligns with VinFast’s long-term strategy to drive green transformation in the Philippines, addressing the increasing demand for electric vehicles among local consumers.
As part of the agreement, VinFast will support JIGA through personnel training, technical consultation, and knowledge-sharing programs to facilitate the expansion. With 16 existing service centers in key Philippine regions, JIGA is well-positioned to help VinFast penetrate the market effectively. JIGA President Michael Abanero and VinFast Asia CEO Pham Sanh Chau emphasized the collaboration’s significance in promoting sustainable transportation and enhancing customer experiences. Since entering the Philippine market in 2024, VinFast has expanded its EV lineup and service network, reinforcing its global expansion strategy by partnering with leading companies like JIGA. This collaboration is part of VinFast’s broader vision to establish a green ecosystem across Southeast Asia.
