ACMobility, a leading EV charging solutions provider in the Philippines, has launched its newest charging hub at U.P. Town Center in Quezon City, a city known for its commitment to sustainability.

“Our goal is to make EV charging accessible and convenient for everyone,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, ACMobility CEO. “This hub is a step toward accelerating the country’s transition to greener mobility.” Located along Katipunan Avenue near top universities, the hub offers six vehicle slots, featuring one 120 kW DC fast charger and four AC chargers (22 kW and 7 kW). It supports private EVs and public utility vehicles like e-jeepneys, reflecting ACMobility’s focus on inclusive charging solutions

The project is in partnership with Meralco, Quezon City’s local government, and the University of the Philippines, aiming to expand EV infrastructure nationwide. Meralco will help develop future charging hubs across the country. A mural by Professor Toym Imao and U.P. Fine Arts students adorns the hub, symbolizing progress and sustainability while celebrating Katipunan Avenue’s heritage
ACMobility plans to install over 200 charging points in 100 locations by the end of 2024, ensuring convenient access to EV charging nationwide.
