Suzuki has launched the fourth-generation Dzire in India, marking a shift from its previous design, as it no longer resembles the Swift hatchback.
The Dzire retains the same dimensions as its predecessor, measuring 3,995 mm in length and 2,450 mm in wheelbase. It features angular LED headlights and a larger grille, giving it a more mature appearance. The sedan’s proportions remain compact, with base trims equipped with 14-inch steel wheels and higher trims sporting 15-inch alloys. The rear features boxy taillights and an integrated spoiler.

Inside, the dashboard is similar to the Swift, but with updated trim and faux wood accents. The cabin includes a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, an analog instrument cluster, and available features like auto A/C, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, an electric sunroof, and Suzuki Connect. The boot capacity is 382 liters, 117 liters larger than the Swift.

The Dzire achieves a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, with standard features including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, and pedestrian protection. It shares the Heartect platform with the Swift and is powered by a 1.2L 3-cylinder engine producing 80 hp (gasoline) or 69 hp (CNG). Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or automatic, with front-wheel drive.
